Oven ready |
1 lb rhubarb and cut 1/2 inch pieces
1/2 cup White Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla
1 lb Strawberries
Mix together and let macerate 10-15 minutes
¼ cup Flour
2 Tbl cornstartch
Pinch of Salt
1 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp nutmeg
1/8 tsp Ginger
Sift into fruit mixture
1 1/2 Sticks butter soften
1 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 cup oats
1/2 cup flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
Dash of Salt
Mix together crisp topping and sprinkle on top of filling
Bake and 350 for 1 hour, cool and serve with whip cream or vanilla ice cream.
